Aperte is also clear on its pricing:

• Default rate for advice, development and maintenance: €80/hour (starting 01/01/2008)
• In the case of open source software development (OSI-compliant license): 5% discount

For development-projects that take more than a few weeks Aperte usually works with fixed-price offers. For a fixed number of hours per month for maintenance and support Aperte offers a lower hourly rate, depending on the number of hours. Ask for the possibilities.

For an initial conversation and the initial offering Aperte normally doesn’t charge anything. If the offering requires a significant amount of analysis this will be made clear during the initial conversation, together with the amount of time required in order to give you a complete picture in the offering. The hours for analysis in these cases are charged.

For an initial conversation in the Amsterdam area Aperte doesn’t charge any costs. For those outside the Amsterdam area a standard rate of half an hour is charged for travel expenses. For international projects travel expenses are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
