Aperte was founded in may 2006, and was launched to support the IT services of Alex de Landgraaf. Aperte is an IT-development company that solves problems using an open, professional and pragmatic approach.

Thanks to the specialties of Aperte, namely developing and implementing Open Source software and the usage of Artificial Intelligence, we can offer fast and fitting solutions to clients with deadlines and also work together with clients on large projects that require an innovative approach.

Aperte is an ‘open company’

At Aperte, we like to skip the BS. Quick, effective face-to-face collaboration works best in order to successfully complete a project. If you have demands that Aperte can’t meet on its own, we’ll be frank about it. We have a series of partners that can help you out in specific areas to complement our specialties. Either way we define together with the client who does what from the get-go. With every project we state when we deliver and each deadline is a promise we always keep.

A professional IT project isn’t a black box that goes from start to finish without the client seeing anything until the end. In order to make it clear how a project is proceeding, each client of Aperte gets access to our dedicated project management suite. With larger projects we will update you on a weekly basis, so even if you prefer to let us get IT done we will keep you posted.

Aperte means business.

Being a professional is often confused with wearing an expensive suit or driving a fancy car. Aperte doesn’t make this mistake (but we are suitably dressed, don’t worry).

Being professional is for Aperte the basis of any serious project. From determining the requirements together with the client, clearly marking the scope of activities, making deadlines we can and will keep with testing and QA to boot, to making sure that everything that is delivered is also maintainable (by Aperte, in-house staff with training or a third party). We don’t try to brush problems under the rug: being professional also means being willing to take the blame and offering solutions to unexpected roadblocks.

The Internet-bubble is long-gone: every IT project deserves a thorough approach with a long-term strategy in mind.

Aperte is pragmatic

We do what we say, and deliver what we promise. It sounds simple, but the reality is that vast numbers of IT projects fail. Why? Mostly due to these projects being (mis)-managed by large inflexible organizations.

Aperte is agile enough to make sure that what is necessary actually gets done. Quick meetings, clear agreements, useful designs and effective implementations. We mean it, we get IT done.
The nay-sayers will then throw back: scope changes! markets change! third-parties might cause incompatibilities and delays!

Change happens. What defines us is how we cope with it. Aperte adapts to new situations and is flexible enough to bring each project we start to a successful finish.
